Sport orientated levers for the brake and clutch. High end CNC machined, for vintage scooter models.
The handlebar levers are the interface between the rider and the scooter. They convert the movement of the riders hands into operation of the front brake and clutch. Parts that should not only function perfectly, but also harmonise with the ergonomics of the hands.
The advantages of the SIP sport levers:
- CNC machined from solid aluminium.
- Sport orientated, but classic design.
- Pre-determined breaking-point.
The SIP handlebar levers gives any headset a sportier appearance, without looking completely out of place on a vintage scooter. They are CNC machined from high quality aluminium alloy billet.
The lever grip surfaces are ergonomically formed and slightly closer to the grips than the original types. This facilitates perfect dosage of both the clutch and the brake.
Perfect symmetry and safety.
The length of these levers is measured so that, even when a brake master cylinder (BMC) is fitted, the width remains identical on both sides. They are provided with a rated breaking-point near their ends, to prevent them fully snapping off in case of accidental damage. This leaves enough lever for them to remain operable and enable a continuation of the journey.
Colour-coordinated brake/clutch levers are available separately. On scooter models fitted with a fully-hydraulic front break, check the BMC (HENGTONG or GRIMECA) for compatibility. They are delivered singly and not in pairs!
