Pressure Plate Clutch POLINI Evolution for Vespa 50-125/PV/ET3/PK50-125/S/XL supported for tuned engines
This clutch pressure plate from POLINI is equipped with a needle-roller bearing and is flatter in construction than the original PK XL II clutch pressure plate. When installed, the distance between the clutch covers push-rod and the pressure plate is identical to the older clutch type with a central spring. Its overall construction is slimmer than the original item. Additionally the bearing-equipped POLINI pressure plate also possesses an O-ring that, according to the clutch type, can hold the plate in position. The POLINI pressure plate is completely circular, with no cut-out section, making it incompatible with the PX 200 clutch. Its outer diameter is 47mm.
Conclusion: A well conceived component, allowing a bearing-equipped pressure plate to be mounted in the space required by the original flat item.
TIP: Before fully operational, check the distance that the push-rod travels during clutch-lever operation is sufficient to reach the pressure plate.
