BGM Pro gear parts are ultra-solid material. For the highest demands, the gears are made of high-alloyed NiCrMo case hardening steel (20NiCrMo2-2/ AISI8620). The precisely defined surface hardening to 58-60HRC makes the sprockets extremely resistant to wear. Better than Piaggio Ware. Always consistently high quality. No compromises.
Suitable for all types of use, whether Tourer or Racer.
With 36 teeth one tooth shorter than the original 4-speed sprocket of a PX200.
The gear connection to the fourth gear is noticeably improved.
Suitable for all gearboxes with a flat shift paddle. These gearboxes can be recognized by the main shaft which has a circlip in front of the gears. The middle segment, on which the gear cross rests, is old at
- PX (until 1984, cranked gear cross): 5mm
- Lusso (from 1984, flat gear cross): 6.5mm
The middle segment of the BGM gears is larger (approx. 1/10mm) and thus offers even more contact surface for the gear cross.
TIP: Ideally combinable with the longer reduction of 64 teeth BGM Pro primary wheel. The total gear ratio is significantly longer in combination with a 24Z clutch pinion, but the gear step three to four is shorter. This way, the full motor power can also be converted into top speed.
